Katie Beasley

Executive Director, Instructor

Katie has a lifetime passion of continuous learning with a goal of using horses to help others.  Katie has a B.S. in Computer Engineering, Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering, and will graduate from LSUS in 2021 with a Masters degree in Business Administration.  

Katie and her miniature horse, Gnomeo, have been a registered therapy team through Pet Partners since 2018 and are regular visitors to the memory care unit at the Terrace in Priceville.  Katie is an Eagala Certified Equine Specialist with additional training in Experiential and Horse Powered Reading® and Math instruction.

Brodie Lowery

Instructor

Brodie Lowery started riding horses when she was a child and has worked with them ever since. After graduating with a B.S. in Education of the Hearing Impaired from the University of Montevallo, Brodie worked with deaf students, gifted students and students with emotional/behavioral issues. She also worked as a trail guide, riding instructor and horse trainer. Brodie has worked with equine assisted therapy programs in the past and recently completed the Horse Powered Reading course. Brodie has five horses, two goats, and many chickens sharing her farm.

Keli Anders

Instructor

Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning 

Keli has been involved in the equine industry for over 40 years with the status of both amateur and professional; holding positions of competitor, in American Horse Show Association, (now the United States Equestrian Federation) sanctioned shows, Assistant Trainer, Trainer, Farm Manager, Breeding Manager, 4-H leader and most recently, since 2010, within the therapeutic horsemanship field holding positions of Volunteer, Instructor, Assistant Executive Director, Program Manager.

Keli owns a herd of six horses, consisting of drafts and draft crosses and is passionate about partnering with horses to help humans become the best version of themselves.
